Once you passed your Class 2B motorcycle license in Singapore, you will be very excited looking around for the first bike that you will want to buy. This is an exciting process as you will ask your friends who are riding currently and before making up your mind to get the perfect first motorcycle to be it a brand new or second hand, it just comes down to your budget as to how deep your pocket is.
After finding the “love of your life” that you want during this process you will go and look for a comfortable helmet and safety gears (such as gloves, riding shoes, riding jacket). Looking forward to doing get your insurance, road tax and most importantly your SEASON PARKING (concessionary season parking) if you are staying in an HDB flat which is roughly around twenty dollars a month. It allows you to park at almost all URA carparks, except at Bayfront Ave, URA Centre, URA Centre (East Wing) and car parks managed by URA for other agencies.
PS* Remember to get a cash card and slot in every time before you start riding and take it when you are parked. Singapore has a lot of ERPs that will suddenly pop out of nowhere and give you a scare at a ten dollars (exclusive of GST) FINE!
Take Your New Ride For a SPIN!
Now it’s time to collect your brand new bike and take it out for a spin, carefully do all your safety checks before moving off your motorcycle off your parking lot, vrooming off to ride all across this little red dot. You decide that you are going to head to the most popular high-end shopping district in Singapore Orchard Road and found out that most of the carparks do not allow motorcycles to park in their shopping mall. This is a very time consuming and tiring process and where there is ERPs around going in and out the gantry will make your pockets feeling the pain.
Why SG Bike Parking?
We are curating a list of motorbike parking information that will help all riders to get the most accurate data as not all of us are like taxi drivers knowing all the roads. As a rider, we should take care of one another as a family while we are on the road, with this information it will help you save time and enjoy more of your time. We will keep the information as up to date if there are any changes for free motorcycle parking, paid motorcycle parking or no entry for motorcycles locations.
